ChanRe Rheumatology and Immunology Center and Research (CRICR) was established on 12th December 2002 by the renowned Rheumatologist Dr. Chandrashekara S. It is a one-of-its-kind hospital in India, dedicated for the management of patients suffering from rheumatic diseases (musculoskeletal) and other immunological diseases.
Over the years, ChanRe has developed as a multispecialty center with modern and improved infrastructure including the amenities to accommodate more associated specialties and sub-specialties for the benefit of patients with a vision to deliver the best.
Following the COVID pandemic, ChanRe recognized the challenges faced by patients, including lifestyle changes, busy schedules, and difficulties in accessing continuous healthcare. Understanding the need to support patient health beyond in-person visits, ChanRe introduced the digital ChanRe Care healthcare platform. This platform enables patients to receive continuous, medically guided care in a convenient and accessible manner, helping them manage their health effectively despite time and lifestyle constraints.
ChanRe Care App Care is a specialized wellness program was established in January 2023 as a medically guided digital health platform. It is designed to provide personalized care tailored to individual needs, especially for people living with autoimmune conditions such as Rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus, and Psoriatic arthritis. The current ChanRe Care website highlights comprehensive dietary, physiotherapy, and yoga therapy components designed for sustainable health improvement.
Initially, the app was restricted to registered ChanRe patients only. Following positive feedback and beneficial outcomes from patients, ChanRe Care was later expanded to allow any individual to enroll and benefit from the program, extending its reach beyond ChanRe-registered patients.
The features of the ChanRe Care app have been extended, and an updated version is scheduled to launch in January 2026.
